I specialize in still life photography and video production, mainly for advertising, web, and editorial.

1969年 兵庫県神戸市生まれ。
大阪写真専門学校（現・ビジュアルアーツ）を卒業。
プロダクションやスタジオに勤務しさまざまなジャンルの撮影経験を積む。
1994年 フリーランスフォトグラファーとして独立。岩瀬写真事務所を開設。
広告・エディトリアルを中心に活動を開始。
1995年 阪神淡路大震災発生後、フォトグラファーとしての活動を一時休止し、神戸市復興事業に従事。
1998年 復帰。
以降も広告・エディトリアルを軸に、ファッション、商品撮影、タレント、ライブ撮影など多岐に渡る分野で活動。
ロサンゼルス滞在中には、ハリウッドでの広告撮影やMVの制作現場に関わり、技術と表現力の幅をさらに広げた。
ライフワークである風景写真シリーズ「日本海」は高い評価を得て、大阪・神戸をはじめとする関西各地で展示を開催。
2004年 東京・渋谷区桜丘町に自社スタジオ「IWASE STUDIO」設立。
商品撮影を専門とし、広告、カタログ、エディトリアル、EC向けのクライアントワークを手がける。
2008年 北参道へスタジオを移転。
2015年 新潟県へ移住。
地域風土に根ざした活動を行いながら、日本海シリーズの撮影を続ける。
2018年 Amazon（東京・品川シーサイド／大阪・堺）にてフルタイムフォトグラファーとして勤務。
サイト掲載用の商品イメージ、360°VR、動画制作・編集を担当。
スピードと実行力、成果が求められる社内環境の中で、改善・イノベーションの実行、プロジェクトの推進を数多く行い、
その経験は、現場での問題解決力、判断力、対応力のさらなる向上につながることとなる。
2024年 再び新潟に拠点を移す。
地元企業との連携を軸に、全国からの依頼に応じて幅広く活動している。
Born in 1969 in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture.
Graduated from Osaka College of Photography (now Visual Arts College Osaka).
Gained experience across various photography genres while working at production companies and studios.
In 1994, became a freelance photographer and established IWASE Photography Office.
Began working primarily in advertising and editorial photography.
In 1995, following the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake,
temporarily suspended photographic work to contribute to Kobe’s reconstruction efforts.
Resumed activities in 1998.
Since then, has continued to work across a wide range of genres including advertising, editorial, fashion, product, talent, and live concert photography.
During a stay in Los Angeles, gained further technical and creative breadth through involvement in advertising shoots and music video productions in Hollywood.
His ongoing landscape series “The Sea of Japan” has received critical acclaim and has been exhibited throughout the Kansai region, including Osaka and Kobe.
In 2004, established his own studio, “IWASE STUDIO,” in Sakuragaoka, Shibuya, Tokyo.
Specializing in product photography, I handled client work across advertising, catalogs, editorial, and e-commerce.
In 2008, relocated the studio to Kita-Sando.
In 2015, moved to Niigata Prefecture,
where I continued shooting the Sea of Japan series while engaging in work rooted in the local culture.
In 2018, joined Amazon as a full-time photographer, working in Tokyo (Shinagawa Seaside) and Osaka (Sakai).
Was responsible for product imagery for the website, 360° VR, and video production/editing.
In a fast-paced, results-driven corporate environment, I led numerous improvement and innovation initiatives and drove various projects.
These experiences significantly enhanced my problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptive capabilities on the ground.
In 2024, relocated his base back to Niigata,
where I now work closely with local companies while taking on assignments from across Japan.
